hm..sorry to hear about that..this is happened to me before too but luckily it wasn't a huge amount or anything..next time perhaps consider using www.iescrow.com ..that way both parties are protected..

Well 2kLuder just wrote in another thread that Paypal reimbursed him for the $100 he gave to Michael Bitondo as a deposit on some S2000 seats he was gonna buy. I guess that's a good sign that maybe I'll get my money back.

The only problem from what I've heard is that the FBI has been so bombarded with investigating terrorist activity that fraud is pretty low priority.

I don't think I'll use Paypal again as well. When I discussed their liability with one of their customer service reps, they told me that they really have no liability at this point, but steps are being taken to change that to make it a more secure environment. However how does that help me right now. I'm going to stick to escrow services on big ticket items now.

hi,

sorry about what happened man...
anyways, i can't help you much but one thing i would do is save the ebay webpages because they are gone after 2 months. that way you can have more evidence of what happened. also, if that FBI asks for information you can give them the saved ebay pages as well.

good luck with this and i really really hope that you get your money back and that guy pays hard, with time in jail with convicted felons.
