Finally starting to realize why no guys want to hang out with me!

I'm sure your not the only one on the planet that does this but IMO anyone who is aware that they are doing it and the reason for it, then does it.... has got some issues.

Why be intimidated by someone that you perceive as better looking than you? You can't have them all. If you've got game, then you'll be fine.

Actually, the friend of a friend may bring more opportunities your way. His looks as the ice breaker and your game as the closer.

I just think what you are doing is severely twisted philosophy and the end result is that you are probably going to miss out on potentially meeting not only some cool good looking dudes....but some of the women that they can bring to the table.

Roll with the best looking guys you can. It makes things so much easier. If you are the best looking in the group, it is often up to you to "feed" the rest of the group. Plus, girls almost always travel in packs. If you are going after one, you will get nowhere unless her friends are interested in your friends. And if your buddies aren't up to par, her friends will c-block you all night long. Now a group of good looking guys will get much more attention from girls, because there is more for the girls to choose from.

 

I don't look at that in reference to my friends.

 

I think your friend just told you your the pretty one in the group so you felt good about yourself

Like I said, I know from having enough female friends this is an actual common thing with many girls. I never really did it (knowingly) until now and am trying to figure out why so I can avoid continuing with it.

I think a few of you made a very good point with the fact good looking guys do draw more girls to your group. Thinking about it, maybe my real issue with this friend is that he also has my same sense of humor, so it's not as easy to swoop on his action

 

The cool kids are always good looking. Didn't you realize that in high school? And when everyone is good looking, other good looking peeps will want to interact with the group.

 

so this is why..i'm too cool to be liked.
