I LOVE Houston!!!!
I was in Houston for new years (Santa Fe / Pearland) and loved the freeways and on/off ramps
How do you guys manage to do the limit (or close to it) ?
It must be a blast to come off those freeways and downshift in quick succession for the ramps... SWEET!!
I think I will have to move soon
(anybody looking for an IT guy?)
Anyways, aside from the 'cold' weather and the SNOW! in Dallas, it was a good trip. Had no time to do anything but spend it with family.
I didn't see a single s2k though, oh well, hopefully the next one I see there will be the reflection of mine.
I just had to let you guys know how lucky you are to have real freeways and roads out there and are able to enjoy the S to its potential.

I grew up in Houston, and although you like it there, I believe it truely sucks. Why? Because what you love - the on and off ramps - are all there is in Houston. Want to get some real twisting curves? Drive a few hours out West to Austin and I'll show you around. I've almost had the opportunity of making other passengers sick from driving some of the hills and curves the way I do.
Although, I will give Houston the points for enthusiastic drivers - especially ones that like to race.

Houston used to be the big city for me when I was in High School down in Lake Jackson. We used to head up there to cruise Westheimer and go to concerts and such. My sister used to live out in Bear Creek so we used to fly down the Katy Freeway in my brother in law's BMW 3.0 csi. There definitely are some fun twisties in the Austin area and also a few between College Station and Austin.
