so it appears my relationship with my first love is ocming to an end. we have been unofficial for some time now (i went to germany for 6 weeks and we stopped it..in june)..when i got back..all was normal minus the title...regardless 2.5 years..junior in college now..i know this should be cake and i should want to meet tons of other people (not that i dont..as that was the reason why i decided to take this break in the early summer)..lately my feelings havebeen getting stronger..apparently not the case with her...she calls the break this time..yet its different... our communication is all messed up and i find i cant express myself...she wants to try friends (not that i would object as logically i know this could be good for me) but i find i cant be her freind as i still love her...we seem to be on some sort of oppposite time table... ps this was moderatley sudden which led me to believe she might have found someoone else..i trust her 100 percent when she says its not that (and it wasnt for me either). i have plans to see her for a few hours on sat. but i dont knwo how or if i shoudl go through with it.id love to save it..but ii have a strong feeling it wont work...she goes to school in CT and im in NJ so its not a big drive but still..im sure you all have had simialr situations..any advice would be welcome as im thoroughly messed up right now. thanks

 

If it is a real break-up, as it sounds, don't put up with that "I want to be friends" crap. It will tear you up much longer that way. I'm not saying to put her on your hit list but don't be going to dinners or movies like you're just friends.
