does it take longer to gain muscle over losing weight, yes. Is it easier, hell no.
Its just as hard to gain weight as an ectomorph as it is to loose weight as an endomorph. To think any different is naive at best.

Losing weight is easy. Gaining weight sucks. Trying to fit all those calories in your diet daily takes a toll on your body and mind. Let me rephrase that. Gaining the "right" weight is tough. You can eat McDonalds for months straight and see your ass get fatter.

similar for me too......i am on the skinny side... if i didn't workout / lift i would probably weigh about 160lbs (5' 11").... i am about 175 due to working out but still feel kind of small.

getting above 175lbs takes way way too much eating... it is not comfortable. all i do is eat and shit...blaaa..... I did take Creatine about 10 years ago and went up as high as about 181 but again, that is too much work....

My body ain't made for being big.....
I agree with you also. I was 202 at my heaviest point and I felt uncomfortable at that weight. Granted I was muscular with a low body fat %. So I set a goal last October to get about 170-175. Took me almost 9 months to get to where I am now. 174lbs and 7% body fat% but I am not a twig due to me being muscular from being 202.

I used to be about your size, good diet and working out (took muscle milk) gained 40 lbs in about 4-6 months, but do yourself a favor and gtfo of GNC, why pay retail if you dont have to?
