Default I really need some advice..

sup all.. i have a real troubling situation. i have a so called "friend" who works at wells fargo bank.. and this faggot keeps on looking at my account activities.. he asked for my social and i was like "wtf man.. i ain't giving that to you" and he just found me by matching my name to my address.. i know it's illegal and shit but i got no evidence and he's a so called "friend" so i tell him to just stop..
well ok.. i thought that was bad enough.. now i found out he's also keeping an "eye" on my parents banking activities too!! WTF!! he admitted it by saying "nothing i can really do.. i can only close the accounts but no harm will i do by just looking"..
what should i do?? i did change the bank but is there any better solution out there? i mean shit.. now he knows everything about me you know what i mean? my bday, social, address, driver's license, bank account #s... i got so pissed at him and i think he just finds this funny or some shit..
shit if he sells my info i'll ing kick his ass, but will that ruin my credit score? i have a very good score right now.. close to 800..
i'm just hoping this internet will find someone who's been in my boat before and figured out a way to get out or someone who can help me out with this matter...
thanks so much!!!

i'm sure the guy's boss will definitely mind. I'd go that route. In order to stave off a lawsuit, they'll take car of him. I'm sure you have a breach of privacy case with wells fargo and maybe even a criminal case, too.

him looking at your account activity is the same thing as him peeping at you while you change clothes. in fact some would say that is even more offensive.

have you explicity said STOP? If so, this guy has some problems and is best off not being your friend. go to the police and press charges. I'm sure they can have a conspiracy to commit identity fraud charge stick no problem.

i mean i definitely thought about that.. but the thing is i said stop and he said alrite but yesterday my dad linked his checking to some other bank and he called and asked what is good about that bank.. i was like "wtf.. this is the last warning dude" and he said alrite.. but there's no way of knowing if he really stops you know.. but i don't want to get him fired unless i find out he does it again.. so called "friend" you know..
i mean this shit just made me think about all the negative things he can do to me, like selling my info being the biggest fear i got..
we used to kid around in college and roommed together.. maybe that's why he thinks this is funny??

Send a registered letter to his Boss. Send a registered letter to his Boss's Boss. Send a registered letter to the corporate ethics/security officer. CC everyone so that the matter has to be discussed and dealt with.

Other than that, slowly remove your $$ and xfer it into another acct. Keep your mouth shut about why, then encourage your family to do the same.

There are various credit watch options out there.

You can be sure that every person, that you are on a first name basis with, that has access to your account info checks it out fairly often. I split my accounts up and never talk to my various brokers about my other accounts.

One time I deposited a 6 figure check in a basic checking acct (that never had any real money it). The next time I went to the bank, the teller I was flirting with (that never gave me the time of day before) was flirting back. Not only do these people look at your accts. they sit around and discuss your money and think of ways to help you spend it so they get commissions.

Welcome to the information age, it is your information that everyone is interested in. Sorry.

Yea, that's a big no-no. Guy could easily get canned and go to court for stuff like that. The bank could also be liable for his invasion of your privacy. A letter to his boss chould do the trick.

do you care about him getting fired? if not I would record the conversation and then send the letter as the others have stated.

This reminds me of the "my nephew stole 500 grand from my aunt's store" post of a few weeks back...

THIS GUY IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. If he is pulling this shit, jerk his chain and get his disciplined. Jeez. Why do people insist on letting themselves get walked over.

The sad thing is that many bank employees do this. My ex-gf was a teller at Citibank and she used to look up and track accounts of celebrities when she was bored.
