Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I think it's the whole wrestleing thing that throws people off.

did you talk to your insurance? I'm surprised they aren't covering it.

Don't worry about it, no I'm not lying, if I was lying I could have made a much more believable excuse lol.... people like different things ya know, I guess most guys here like football, which to me is boring, but I could understand how tix to the superbowl would be a big thing, it's the same thing for a rock concert or for Wrestlemania, I mean I'm not a fan myself but a 90,000+ sellout show tells you there's some interest in it.

My insurance is so cheap they made more fun of me than you guys did on this thread lol, seriously, they don't cover ANYTHING. I'm in grad school though so the cheap-o insurance is all I can afford, ironically enough my car has insurance but I don't.

1. Your soon to be 50 year old dad watches Wrestlemania?

2. If that is true, it doesn't surprise me that his son post on a car forum for Paypal donations.

In all seriousness... you probably would have better luck posting in your "Local" forum instead of the entire community that will question your motivation and your legitimacy.

Fix your car. Get your dad a cheaper present.

If your Dad loves wrestling so much..... he will probably foot the bill to buy his OWN ticket.........."Brotha"

JMO.

Sell your S2000 and buy something cheaper.

Most grad students I know drive 10 year old Civics.

Comments are pointless here. His words may be true, so there's no point in repeatedly making fun of him. If you feel like donating, then give him. If not, then skip the thread.

But seriously though... I don't think $175 is so hard to come up with if you really want to get him a ticket.

Actually I didn't get my S for a whole lot more than a Civic, got a killer deal on it. It's really not that much, what really set me back is that I thought it was only my mirror that was damaged, turns out it's the whole door.

It's alright though guys, I wasn't begging for money or anything, just if anyone had any spare change they weren't gonna use anyway. I found a gold-mine though, my friend has a bunch of car parts (muscle car) that he just wants to get rid of for space, I know a bunch of the muscle-car guys around here who will pay gobs for these rusted old pieces lol. That should even me back out quite a bit without having to sell my class ring.

As far as wrestling, I don't know, pretty much all my dads friends never miss it, pretty big around here where I live. I'm not really into any sports, real or fake, so beats me why anyone would want to watch the superbowl OR wrestlemania, but to each his own. i did watch last years b/c he ordered it on PPV, i believe it was like an 80,000 crowd at the citrus bowl so apparently it's got a big following. he's my dad though, he grew up poor and hasn't really had a chance to enjoy himself so i'm happy to do this for him, heck I don't care if he was an Oprah fan lol, I'd sent him front row there.
