Anyone know anything about the proposed new 600 series BMW?

 

That same 8 series was a pace car at Willow Springs 3 weeks ago for a NASA event (Driving Concepts was there too). Anyway, the 8 series is really nice, I was looking at them for a large GT cruiser type of car at one time. What surprised me was that the 840 (with the 8 cylinder) was more expensive than the 850 (12 cylinder), I guess because of the maintenance issues....

 

Wow, I haven't seen that before, I love that new 600. My dad had a 630csi way back in about 85, that was a fun car I'm glad they're bringing it back...

 

M8 ... Damn, this is funny ... BMW is currently still managing M3s and M5s. Hmm, that must be a concept test car to guage the reactions of the public of what they think of a next M8 to move up the listing. Or maybe it's M3+M5=M8 ... Hah!

Only one M8 was made and it was only a concept car/prototype. It was deemed too socially irrisponsible by BMW to produce and that was the end of it:

 

That is exactly the picture I was talking about.

 

The prototype sure looks magnificent, I bet sales won't be a problem with BMW lovers and fans even condemned so. Yes, red is nice for fonts ... I might as well be the first person to go color full-time before somewhere bites the concept.

 

Why??

 

No one ever mentions the M roadster. THey stopped making this, but as an S2000 owner, even I know it could take me. No Offense But BMW stands for Beamer Might Work. I would Love for my next car to be an M Roadster, however most BMW are too pricey, and hey, how many do you see daily.
