one of my ex made it to the pages of Vanity Fair, i saw today with some very mixed feelings. she looked too thin, i worried a bit.

i don't know what this mixed feeling i have is about. i should congratulate her, but i don't think i can bring myself to write her ever again.

Without knowing the details of how you were together and why you broke up, it's hard to give advice. Maybe you need some closure and therefore you should write to her(?)

Richard, how does your wife feel about this? I have several old girlfriends that I'd love to catch up on news with, but I don't think my bride would be very understanding. It has always been curious to me that marriage usually changes a woman's last name, making it difficult to track her down.
