Mrs. Raptor and I were traveling in the carpool lane of the eastbound 210 west of the 605 about 10:30 this morning with the top down, when a huge white SUV in the carpool lane going in the other direction at a very high rate of speed, with cops with red lights and sirens right behind him, veered into a K Rail type center divider, hard, and got airborne. It looked like he was going to land on top of us. I moved over one lane to the right, cutting off a SUV. We were showered with small pieces of concrete debris. I didn't have time to look in my rearview mirror to see what happened. When we got to our destination there were chips with concrete dust on my windshield right side. I'm sure it will be on the news tonight. Scared the shit out of us!

 

Oh my god that is insane!

Hope your alright, seeing "top down" and "concrete pieces" do not really paint a good picture at highway speeds.
