hahaa. Global wetting...One major point of global warming is the heat will melt the polar ice caps, thus raising the water level. You can imagine how that affects everything as a whole. Ocean currents, wind, tides, ocean temperatures which affects the land, etc. It seems like what NASA is saying is that global warming is caused by the sun's cycle. I've read about this before too, that the sun is the real culprit, though we can't keep doing whatever we want either.
You basically hit the nail on the head. Global warming will eventually melt the ice caps which will dump cold water into the ocean. If anyone knows about the ocean's current, there are warm and cold currents that flow consistently around the earth in an on going "conveyor belt." With all the cold water coming in from the ice caps, the cycle gets disrupted and eventually stops. Because of that, the climate will turn very cold until the earth can recover itself and go back into a normal climate period.

This has happened many times on earth and it WILL happen again, we just are making it happen sooner then expected.

The climate has two metatstable positions. Ice age and temperate. The models show that the shift is remarkably fast...

all I think is.....

Yo, VIP, Let's kick it!

Ice Ice Baby, Ice Ice Baby
All right stop, Collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention
Something grabs a hold of me tightly
Flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop? Yo; I don't know
Turn off the lights and I

Sounds like an easy enough fix. Bummer that you'll have to go back to elementary school to learn about proper grammar, bro. I don't think firefox 2.0 w/ spell check has grammar check.

When we keep saying we're making it happen sooner, are we talking like it'll happen in 1.5 million years instead of 1.8 million?

Just thought ya'll might want to read this... The Press and everyone is saying that Global Warming is a "fact" now and that scientists are all convinced, however, this is complete BS. Sceptics in the field of science are actually increasing, not decreasing...

This is from the U.S. Senate Committee of Environment and Public Works, it might be beneficial to review seeming how this has been a hot topic in politics lately.

If you're speaking about the article above, NASA said no such thing. NASA simply said they predict the sunspot activity two solar cycles away will be lower.
