If A Girl Came Onto You
Sometimes I feel bad for guys, in the sense that society in general expects them to make the first move.
All of the weight of approaching a woman is largely on their shoulders, with rejection being something that they have to take.
So.... how would you guys feel if a woman came onto you (aggressively or not), asked you out, made the first move, showed you she was interested by doing more than smiling and batting her lashes?
Would you be turned on/off, intimidated, apprehensive?

This is a good question. Personally I like women who are assertive, but not bitchy. Its nice for a woman to make the first move sometimes, it shows how interested she is. Like anything else, there are classy ways to do things, and then there are less than classy ways to do things. Being direct is good and is a great way to avoid game playing. Women that are confident are much more attractive IMO.
I am fairly shy until someone breaks the ice. I really enjoy it when a woman makes the first move for many reasons. First it shows that they are outgoing. Second, it shows that they are obviously interested. Since I usually am too nervous in social situations where I don't know strangers, I just usually pick the girl out at a bar that I want to meet and grin like an idiot from across the room at her. Nine times out of ten they walk up during the evening and say something then the pressure is off me.
I have been asked out by women a bunch of times and never turned one down. A couple I would have probably not chosen on my own, not my type, but since they had the chutzpah to walk up to me and ask, I gave it a shot.
I get approached by lots of women at the bars though and it can be a real turn off depending on the approach, much the same way it would be for a woman. Go up and introduce yourself in a nice way. Smile a lot, look directly into the eyes and be yourself.
When girls come up all drunk and reeking like and ashtray, put there hands in your hair and say, "You are cute, *burp*" it comes off the same way as it would as if a drunk guy did that to a woman. Not cool. Be funny if you are funny, but sorry girls most woman are not, so don't try to hard to be, just be yourself.
One girl, who was quite cute, thank you very much, came up, and said "You are definately going home with me tonight." Not the approach I would suggest but it does get you noticed. Did not take that one up on it, came off as too skanky.
I would say go for it in a tasteful way and report back with your success. Good luck.
