I just completed my first season (novice) and now starting a professional season. Amazing detail for a 1st gen game. I tried Colin McRae but I prefer this version... it's got all the top drivers, cars and very intense stages. Single player, multiplayer, AWESOME.








I even enjoy it more than the F1 game that the developers also make, although that is damn fun in it's own right.

Can't wait for GT Mobile

For now other car games I liked were NFS Most Wanted, and Burnout Legends (great stress reliever).

Have you tried GTA or SOCOM yet? I'm very curious how these games are. I need to pick something up for the business trip later this month.

BKW, I got a 2gb card off Amazon for $158 shipped, well worth the purchase for all those European and Japanese games we never get to see

I tried the Socom BETA online, which was fun but a little too easy due to "auto-aim". GTA I haven't tried yet but everyone I know who does have it, is addicted.

 

I wonder why you haven't tried those two in specific

 

Once Turismo is out for PSP, I am all in and will purchase the works. I don't know why they didn't make this a launch title. PS3 better launch with it.

im a kid compared to you ole' timers! 33 years young and PSP'ing all the time!

The wife bought me one before one of my business trips earlier this year and though I was never into gaming, the PSP has made me into a middle-aged gamer! I play it every day on the train to/from work, and every business trip!

I had asked about GTA and SOCOM because these arent available for 'my' version of PSP yet. These would have to be some pretty damn good games in order to convince me to upgrade to 2.1!

 

Ah crap... you beat me by 1.5 years, I'm ready for my flogging now.

I haven't upgraded my PSP since Socom or GTA aren't must haves for me. BUT, WRC is.... TOCA is also another fun one. I can just see it now, I'll be a GT Mobile-aholic at work when it comes out with all my friends who have PSPs here, ad-hoc gaming makes me a junkie.

Another fun one, World Series of Poker. You can even play online although games don't go nearly as quick as party poker.
