I remember the group that went to Tokyo and toured the factory. I couldn't wait for the stories/pics they posted after the trip. I think they brought back the first JDM S2000 keys (requiring major mods to insert the id chip). One of the Japanese guys that drove them around had a first gen Odyssey with a body kit.

Not 3, but I do remember the rush of enthusiasm on this forum 2.5 years ago. Compare XViper's member number, around 1600, to mine assigned just 41 days later of around 2100. Almost 500 new members in a month and a half!
BTW, does anyone have a copy of TSB 54....is this grind normal

[calling Honda dealer on phone]: Uhhhmmmm....I'm at the gas station, how do I open the gas door?
PS. Paul from Boulder (PFB), the politics on this board have been very horrible at times....if I had to point a finger towards a direction of fault, it would be at the admins of this site.
Strike getting censored and banned at the other site was at his own fault for being so inflammatory...that's it. Every post he made added no value other than to start an argument....EVERY post! At lease when Greg and Sondra were welcomed here, they added to the conversation and topic about the car and the community...don't believe me? Check out the stickied note in the Houstooks forum....it's been there for a long time...started by Sondra. It's good to know even though some individuals aren't welcomed here, they're still used as a source of knowledge and community.
Hell, I had my disagreements and dislikes of Bieg, but when he got banned the first time, I was one of his staunchest supporters....what happened to him was just not right. There's a difference between 'right and wrong' and being 'welcomed or not-welcomed' Just because someone isn't welcomed doesn't mean they were wrong.
My .02, that I thought I was done with many times over. This time, I'm really done discussing this topic. I've moved on, sure the community what used to be was special...and I will always remember it. However, it [the community] won't happen again; that's just the reality of it.

BTW, if i for some reason, am no longer 'welcomed' here after the previous post, it was very nice meeting and interacting with many of you here...and yes with some of the admin as well.
Strike,
You're right about your value there. I spoke (wrote) earlier from what I had seen only in the forums that I read.
In any case, what is done is done, and I don't care to revisit any of that. It seems that both "camps" are satisfied with thing status quo and I have enjoyed the peace.
I don't want this to start another fire.
Wickerbill....'email'....gawd that makes me laugh.

I use both. There's good photos, and offtopic discussion here. There's also good technical info that's been saved and accessible through search here.
However, for more current technical info, I find the other site more useful. Also, for me there's higher quality discussion about racing leagues, drivers, local drive info, and some sense of community sentiment that's been built up with the common 'old-timers' from here.
There's more adult conversation there as well...what I mean by adult conversation is that we can talk about politics and other controversial topics without people going ape sh1t. I'm sure if the userbase there grows, that'll all be thrown out the window.
As it stands, the majority of people there are more than username personalities and have met each other at least once in person at some point in time. There's some commradery and cordialness towards each other.
Getting back to topic.....
I remember way back when Scot had a red s2000 and white te37's. Now-a-days, people only know him for toting around an EVO.
