I'll actually be able to watch my alma mater this weekend on ESPN2

Men's college basketball.

Thanks to the University of Florida's #5 national ranking and my alma mater's strong start I'll be able to watch The University of South Florida Bulls take on the Florida Gators Saturday from the Sun Dome in Tampa on ESPN 2.

Come on Bulls! Its been a year of upsets so far, let's keep the string going?

Anyone in Tampa going to the game!

I was in Tampa earlier this year visiting a friend and drove by the South Florida campus. My question to you is, do you know why a university about halfway down the coast of Florida would be called South Florida? I'm not being a smartass, I was just wondering if an alumnus of this school would know the reason.

Also, good luck this weekend. If you guys can knock off the Gators, my team (Oklahoma State Cowboys) might move up a spot in the polls.
