We've found out what own3d means. What about "5 'o"? The only thing I know about is that people leave their current location.

Haven't you ever heard of the old police show, "Hawaii Five-O"?

I believe that's where the phrase, "Book 'em, Danno." came from.

"Five Oh" = 5.0 = Mustang with 5.0L V8 = the cop car of choice for a certain period of time in not so recent history.

You take AP classes in High School and if you get an A, it's a 5 0 (5.0) GPA.

It's "Hawaii 50" ya goofs. Both the good and bad guys used to say it on the show. The reference comes from the name for the state police in our 50th state. I have no doubt about this.

It's comical that someone is old enough to drive but too young to remember the genesis of this slang. It became common about 15 years after the show was cancelled (but was everywhere in reruns.)

In reference to the Mustang 5.0, it is pronounced "five point oh".
In the police show it was just "five oh".
