It's "Hawaii 50" ya goofs. Both the good and bad guys used to say it on the show. The reference comes from the name for the state police in our 50th state. I have no doubt about this.
It's comical that someone is old enough to drive but too young to remember the genesis of this slang. It became common about 15 years after the show was cancelled (but was everywhere in reruns.)
