Default Indianapolis Formula One

Who all is going? The logistics will be a PITA, but I'd like to get all of the S2000 owners who are attending together other than the ones I'm crashing with (so that I can show my friend who is coming along with me that we're not ALL nuts). Gregg, GregS, NJTom, a few other people, and I will be sharing a condo a few miles from the track that I've come to call the "Stook Shack!"

If you guys do want to gather somewhere, logistics like cell phone numbers will be nice for us to share amongst our group, and Talkabouts might be a cool idea for use at the track too (especially for a quick call back to the seats from the concession stand!).

Anyone, anyone?

Sondra sure gets around a lot for someone that's not employed. Guess she save all her money for doing fun stuff and traveling.

I have 4 seats reserved at the race and will probably be going with my GF (selling 2 tickets, BTW) but I don't know the details of my trip yet........lodging, etc. We'll be sitting in the PADDOCK area, Section S22 or something like that

If you don't have lodging yet, you'd better nail it down FAST. The closest reasonably priced hotel rooms are currently 60+ miles away!

Yeah, I know! Had to stay 70 miles away during the Indy 500 one year. I have a friend in Indy whom I might be able to stay with.....

Last year we sat in the paddock. Great view of the start (I was sure that DC jumped the start and was proven right!) and the cars at their fastest (and loudest!), but I think the North or Northwest Vistas (good view of the infield twisties) or Section J (best view of overtaking at turn 1) may be better seats. Let us know what you think after the race!
