Quill is owned by Staples, so they cross share many products.

In October, we will have a brand new lineup hit the stores called "IDENTITY GUARD". If you are a heavy duty user, we have a 10-sheet cross cut that will shred paper all day long without overheating (at 10 sheets).

Thanks Mingster. The "Identity Guard" sounds like the ticket.

I mostly keep all of my bills for my taxes.... we own a mortgage company and the last time I checked, damn near everything i charge (online porn, shoes, food, car parts, more online porn) is tax deductible.

I only throw away credit card statements after 7 years is up...by then I have a different credit card anyway.

In any case, if you're looking to buy:

Shredders
Laminators
Electric hole punches (save your hand/arm!)
Electric pencil sharpeners
Electric letter openers
Electric staplers
Letter folding machines

Pool alarms (especially if your local laws require it) - buy from Lowes/Home Depot/ACE
DIY alarms

You know who to contact

If you're going to get a shredder,go for cross cut. We're on our second at home and they tend to jam. At work (a state agency) we have several. The most heavy duty stright line still jams regularly and strips of paper are a lot easier to reconstruct than thousands of little diamonds.
I'm president of a club that used to meet on a Air Force Reserve base (before 9/11) and they used a cross cut in the base hangar.
