It's funny as all hell to describe a car accident as, "...he Initial-D's into the median barrier..." but are we misusing this term to describe just any accident? Or accidents caused by cars actually drifting?

I Initial-D'd my car (Integra) into a concrete guard rail on a highway exit ram last Saturday. I'm pretty sure I was drifting at the time, even if it was entirely unintentional.

Funny, I thought drifting implied "control".

I know I've been misusing the term but what better term to describe an amazing accident with an amazing car... sorta like the cartoon... ya feel me?
