interesting article on race and perception
poll on race and kobe bryant
Interesting artile in USATODAY about race and their perception about the Kobe Bryant case. It is interesting how one issue can have such a vast difference in views simply because of your race. It goes on and talks about what people thought about OJ Simpson and Mike Tyson.
Why is it, that regardless of the crime, if the accused is black, more blacks will tend to favor the accused and believe him, while whites tend to "know" the issue ? is it because of mistrust? what would cause people to just take all evidence aside, and just say the person is innoncent because of his race... i mean.. granted OJ was found innoncent, but everyone... EVERYONE knows that he was guilty.. and Mike Tyson.. he is guilty.. but yet.. regardless of what the jury saw.. people saw them as innoncent.. strange isn't it....
