Speaking of amazing cars, I saw this on a recent trip to Bali and had to stop and take a picture:



Apparently it's based on some sort of Nissan (Pulsar??) but it's been cut and boxed in the side, and a Testarossa style grate added.

This is only really impressive when you realise that this place is really 3rd world.

This shows that the 'tuning' (as we say in europe) or 'rice' trend is spreading all over the world. Not very positive for the general evolution of good taste, tho...

 

No engine either. Come on guys, this is a rolling chassis. It wasn't posted as a finished specimen or a work of art, more as indicative of the lengths people will go to to customise a car.

This is a country where the average population have trouble affording a bowl of rice so this sort of 'rice' (I do hate that term) is quite amazing.
