That's interesting. We should really all thank Mazda for starting the roadster tradition back up again in the US.

I think Honda tried to follow the same goals as Mazda when they made the S2K. They kept it light and put a 4 cylinder in it.

 

Has anyone ever done a poll like this for us (S2000 owners)? Obvious alternatives would include the Miata, Z3, M roadster, Boxster, Boxster S, MR2, Vette, maybe the SLK and TT.
