And how would a microchip be the Mark of the Beast? First of all, nobody is planting microchips in people's foreheads, and if they did, why do you assume that it would leave a mark? Did Satan invent the microchip just for this purpose? Does Satan work for Texas Instruments? When was he hired? Do you have any idea how nuts your comment on this sounds?

As far as the general public of Canada, Mexico it is not up to them. It is up to the powers that be and IMO Mexico could stand to benefit from it as well.
Hmmmmm I am wondering if you could clarify this statement?

I think there is a general perception in the United States that Canada would be happy to become a part of the U.S. That we are somewhat less patriotic then the Americans. That we would or will or do roll over for you.

You could not be further from the truth.

I think that for the most part, Canadian's think more or less of the American's as cousins and we are very proud and happy to have you as our neighbours. We have stood shoulder to shouder with you during the good and the bad times both our countries have experienced and always will. We have also had disagreements during periods of history but, like cousins, we have worked them out and overcome them.
And we like having you come over and visit and we like to come over and visit you too. But we ain't adding on a room for you and we sure as hell ain't asking for you to add one on for us.

I am not saying this to piss anyone off or in disrespect, so if you try to read between the lines that is you own doing but....there is not one snow balls chance in hell that you will ever see Canada be annexed or merge with the U.S.

We have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many natural resources over here to ever feel the 'need' to form a union with our neighbours.

A quote from the article:

News of the deal, and the allegation it was kept secret in Canada, is already making the rounds on left-wing blogs and Internet sites as an example of the dangers of the growing integration between the two militaries.

On right-wing blogs in the U.S. it is being used as evidence of a plan for a "North American union" where foreign troops, not bound by U.S. laws, could be used by the American federal government to override local authorities.

"Co-operative militaries on Home Soil!" notes one website. "The next time your town has a 'national emergency,' don't be surprised if Canadian soldiers respond. And remember - Canadian military aren't bound by posse comitatus."

Posse comitatus is a U.S. law that prohibits the use of federal troops from conducting law enforcement duties on domestic soil unless approved by Congress.

Besides we already got a plan here too in case we need to invade you.

Well you were asking about secret societies! We got this group that pretends to be interested in the welfare of beavers when really.....perhaps you seen them practising billy club techniques on unsuspecting baby seals?

Seriously though....I don't read too much shit into the fear mongers and conspiracy blogs. Sometimes I feel that the biggest conspiracy of all is the people behind the theories. I mean hey who is making all the money off of the tapes and books and talks?

More claptrap. During WWII, the US had bases in Canada, and withdrew after the war. It didn't lead to a takeover of Canada. Or perhaps you think that it means that Canada has a secret plot to take over the U.S.? We've already infiltrated your entertainment industry by sending down Celine Dion, Michael Myers, Dan Ackeroyd, Paul Schaefer, William Shatner, etc. And don't believe that Lorne Green is dead either -- he's just gone underground, waiting for the Elders of Zion to call him back into action.

When this happened those troops were bound by the laws of the host country as well as their own. Now today, that is not the case. Possi Comatatus does not apply here.

Well it is not like the books you speak of are on the best sellers list or anything so how much do you think they are REALLY making when in most cases they have to publish and distribute their own works or go thorugh small publishing companies.

UN = Motions towards a OWG Although it doesn't seem THAT far-fetched to me. The US is one of the prime powers in the UN with the proven ability to overturn or ignore decisions or directives made by the collective representation of members to take action in the world.

I don't think it's unrealistic for there to ultimately be a single government controlling the rest of the governments in the world whether any other country is willing admit to being a puppet or not. The US has enough clout to be the one that sways nearly (not all) countries in the direction that they would like. I would not expect there to ever be a formal, labeled alliance or assimilation though.

Now, determining who controls the US government behind the scenes is an even deeper conversation to which I could only speculate greatly
