Default invention for my son's class?

My son needs to make something that has not been invented..... it has to be something to make life easier, and we will have to make it.... we do have to draw it too....but making it is much harder.

I always thought a Yogurt stirrer would be funny for that yogurt with the fruit on the bottom........ but I have no way to make one..... (you can just use a spoon).

One idea someone had was bending some metal to slip under the mattress then hold a book for you to read while you are in bed..... i think the teacher gave the kids that idea...

How about something that helps a kid get out of bed? ..like the light from outside heats up a liquid somehow and then tips something that turns on an alarm???....

No clue..... it would be easy if we didn't have to make it.

HELP.

How about a toilet paper folder? As you pull the paper off the roll it would automatically neatly fold 3, 4, 5, 10, or however many sheets you decide your dirty ass requires. Make it out of something like a spatula that would grab the end of the paper, each time you turn it over it folds one more sheet neatly.

OK, there's a reason it hasn't been invented but it sounds like something you would come up with. Oh, no wiping your ass on the spatula!

I love this ::::::::::::::::: TRY STUPID AMERICAN INVENTIONS...YOU MOTHERFRS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR LESS THAN 300 YEARS AND LOOK AT THE BULL YOU'VE TRIED TO INVENT IN THE 17 AND 1800'S. NOT TO MENTION ALL THE STUPID EUROPEAN INVENTIONS I'VE SEEN. YOU PEOPLE ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING OTHER THAN STEALING IDEAS AND INVENTIONS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES AND LYING TO YOURSELVES AND YOUR FAMILIES IMPLYING THAT YOU MADE THE INVENTIONS YOURSELF." --james chnbonpin; Pasadena, California. Invent a tripod or something that holds the garbage bag open for you to rake leaves and such...Ive been thinkin about that.

We have a gas powered leaf blower.. (stihl??) and it works great.. but when you use the sucking fuction, it takes in like rocks n sticks n stuff and it ends up messing it up so we just blow them into a pile and pick em up.

But when your alone you cant hold the bag yourself, so ive thought about a tripod or 5 legs something that has a buldge in the legs to accomadate for any size increase in the garbage bag while filling.. and also something on that tripod to latch the bag to it or attach it securely.. Also making this tripod .. 5 leg thing collapsable for storage, transporting.. etc.. like folding legs or something..

I dunno, maybe its stupid. I hope i dont see this thing on Tv in a couple years with someones picture from S2ki LOL..

thanks for the help guys.....

CG - ahhahah....i will probably pass on that... my son would be too embarrassed anyway...... if i ever eat at your house I will wash all the spatula's...

Russian - those are great!

Dizing - I do like that idea........ they don't currently make something like that? guess some people could just put the bag into a garbage can and tip it over.? I will ask him if he likes this idea....

they already got these. In fact, I crammed myself into one during the Super bowl this past year.

How about inventing a clip to hold a mouse cord in place to the computer desk. Mine is always getting hung up or kinked on the edge of the desk... It always drives me bonkers.
