invisalign or braces?
my teeth aren't that bad, but im thinking of fixing it up.
braces are cheaper, more noticeable, and usually get better results. they stay on your teeth and you dont have to take them off and on like invisalign.
invisalign is more $$$, but less noticeable. need to take off the aligners EVERYTIME you eat or drink (anything except water), so its more of a hassle. results might not be as good as braces.
anyone here had invisalign before? pros and cons, any regrets?

I can't comment on Invisalign, but provided you're not a model and aren't having your photo taken for publication... Just go with braces. It's not often that the cheaper alternative is also the better choice from a long-term quality/sustainability perspective.
Sure, you might be 40 and look like a douche with the perma-grill, but it's only for 12-24 months depending on your teeth.

My wife just got her braces on about 6 or 7 months ago.
2 - 2.5 years when using braces
3.5 to 4 for the invisalign thing.
She opted for regular braces because they were quicker and cheaper.

I vote for braces. You'll get better results more quickly.
Ask your dentist to use tooth colored brackets and wires, and clear elastics. It makes the braces much less noticeable.
Invisalign works but not on all types of situations. What does your dentist recommend if it were his/her own teeth?

I went with braces, but I was 15 at the time and every other kid had them.
But seriously, straight teeth > crooked teeth. Less dental issues in the future and more presentable. Oh and you won't be mistaken for a Brit.
