Its pretty cool , makes a difference overnight. If you wake up in the morning with a stuffed nose , buy it and never look back.

Consumer Reports blasted the Ionic Breeze pretty much saying it was a worthless ripoff. Sharper Image made a big deal about it and sued Consumer reports over it.

Google around and you'll probably find people supporting both sides. IMHO, when there's enough "doubt" about an expensive product's capability, I tend to stay away.

This sounds sort of a harsh opinion:

A better approach would be to invite more exposure in your environment, spend more time out doors, do the gym? make sure your are mentally and physically satisfied at the end of the day. Something like what your using will put you further near an edge where something could go wrong.

So are you suggesting busting a nut before going to bed would accomplish all the above?

i've had both the regular ionic breeze and the one with germicidal protection for
over 4 years...
- both work well in small rooms
- need to clean often (about once a week)
- quiet
- cheap to maintain
- no moving parts
- very fragile .. if you don't keep up with the cleaning or if it tips over .. it's done.

IMO, it's worth it compared to the other household air cleaners out on the market.

Another thing you might want to check out is ... Prozone. If i didn't have the ionic
breeze, i'd definitely get this one. it rocks when it comes to eliminating odors.

Read CU a few months ago. Trashed the Ionic Breeze. Sharper Image sued CU and lost. Definitely not worth the price or ozone exposure.

Walmart has one for sale now. It's still over $130 though. I don't know exactly how much SI sells them for.

OK, I did some research on my own.
pros: adequate air cleaning, quiet, low power demand

cons: produces ozone (same stuff as smog).

I guess I dont really want to breath smog. Thanks for the replies.
