Those ionic breeze purifiers are total junk. If you check out the consumer reports article about them, they basically say they cost a fortune and do absolutely nothing except create harmful ozone.

The "ionic" part about it creating negative ions which supposedly make you "feel good" is pure junk science.

Also consumer reports won the case. Sharper image couldnt prove that CR's research was wrong and court mandated that SI paid for CR's legal fees.

Do what I did. Buy one, put it in your sunroom with all the doors and windows closed. Smoke a big fat cigar. Turn the Ionic Breeze on for two hours. Take it back to the store.

I was making reference to that fact that when I actually tried that experiment, the Ionic Breeze didn't make a dent in two hours. The Honeywell Hepa unit I bought had the room cleared up and smelling decent in under an hour.
