Reserved mine.. can't wait till the 24th!!!

 

AT&T has been down - at least the eligibility part of the purchase for existing owners (I'm sure you've all read about this today), and since Apple makes a call from their online store to AT&T, they're basically down too.

However, I got to a new screen this afternoon, after I entered my account info, that indicated I now have one reserved. No confirmation email on this or anything, just a "see you at the store" and bring ID, so I guess we'll see

I'm not sure if the reserve is for a day or how long[?] and I also ordered a 32GB while I meant to just get a 16GB. Duh.

 

A tip: Download the "Apple store" app, you can reserve it through there. I had no problems with it.

DT: it says " Your product will be available untill the end of the day"

 

Great, thanks, that's kind of what I would've expected though I was hoping for 48 hours to avoid an extra trip.

 

Wait, how is it available until day's end only? I thought it wasn't out until the 24th?

 

You can pre-order today. It will be available on the 24th until the end of the business day. After that its available for anyone that walks into the store and wants it.

 

Same for me. All its saying is that it'll be available "later this summer"

So I tried to get an update on the iPhone 4 release in Canada and have been trying to visit my cell phone provider (one of the, if the the largest in Canada) at http://www.rogers.com and I've been getting a "Connection Was Reset" error for the past 2 hours.

 

I pre-ordered in store today.
