Do some searches on the tech news sites like: Tech Dirt, Digg, Gizmodo, Engadget, Slashdot, etc. and you will find plenty of info on how to hack an iPhone...

This rocks since I have ATT already with a business discount account. It makes the iPhone much more attractive as a phone.

If you want to use the Iphone without a contract, enter 999-99-9999 as your SS# when activating the phone through ITunes. You will essentially fail the credit check for getting into a contract and then it gives you the option to go month to month or prepaid.

I don't believe you can just throw in your old SIM card.
