I really don't know much about that other phone, but I just got my Iphone yesterday and I love it. If you have any questions about it just let me know. I will do my best to help answer them. I am still kind of an Iphone Newbie

Which phone will actually integrate with the infrastructure you have now?

Otherwise, if you just need to make phone calls, and send/receive texts, both of those phones are ungodly overkill.

I was also wondering about hooking the iPhone up to a headunit. I use to have my Nano hooked up to my Alpine HU. It was very convient to use the HU to scroll through songs and playlists instead of the iPod. Well, the nano died, and I needed a new iPod so I opted to just get the iPhone instead. I'll look into it though.

As far as jailbreaking the new firmware, good luck. My iPhone already came with 1.1.1 on it so no 3rd party Apps. for me. Not yet atleast!
