Basically, if you had a gun held to your head and the trigger would be pulled if you didn't vote for Quayle, you'd probably do it. That's basically the stance in Iraq from everything I've read.

I mean, in NO society with a free election does any single candidate get 99.96% of the vote (or whatever the crazy percentage was that CBS reported tonight).

Maybe we can learn from the Iraqis how to run an election since Saddam won 11,000,000 votes (100%). If I were an Iraqi, I would highly question my leader getting 100% of the votes and no write-ins. That country must really live in fear each day, and not from us.

No doubt. Hard to loose when there is one choice on the ballot.

....and counted 11,000,000 votes in one night to declare a winner. WOW!!!! Talk about efficient.

That sounds like that is a lot like the US...look up COINTELPRO its the most shocking thing that I've ever found out about that the United States ever did. Oh well that and Tuskegee Study...please don't believe everything that the government tells you

All said I agree something needs to be done about Iraq, but for this to work in Iraq there needs to be some foresight for once. I know war is not the only option, and I'm not sure if war is the best option.
