Just wanted to get your opinion on the Lexus IS300 SportCross.
I have been looking at them and all I can say is, damn, I like that a lot !
Anybody have any real life experience w/ this fine looking automobile ??

although i haven't seen it in person, it's looks pretty nice. it would be even better if it was stick. the thumbshift isn't that great.

 

From what I read, it does come in a 5 speed.
Can anybody clarify that?

My brother has an IS300 and it is a 5sp.
SportCross? what exactly is that?
Anyway, I really like his IS300... a really sweet car!

The 5spd is only avail. on the sedan. Sorry.

The Sportcross is optioned as a fully loaded automatic sedan IS300 + of course a rear hatch.

The IS300 comes in 3 different models, there is the 5 speed sedan, a automatic sportcross and then a automatic sedan. The sportcross is the wagon looking version.

 

Da Hapa and I were able to drive the Sportcross when we went to a Lexus test drive a few months ago. The performance isn't too bad, and it holds a lot more stuff than the IS300. The handling was decent, although not nearly as good as our S2K's.

The course that we drove the sportcross on was a performance road. We were suppose to drive as fast as we could around the course and get as close to the time that a professional driver got. We both pushed the car really hard and had a blast in it.

 

I think the sportcross is one of the ugliest vehicles I have ever seen next to the Pontiac Aztec.
