Default Itches!

Lately, my whole body itches at night for an obscured reason. I have no idea why. Let's take medications out of the equation and throw in some wild ideas, could air quality or mold have caused this constant itchiness? Has anyone ever experienced a similar symptom? Thanks!

Have you tried washing all the sheets from your bed, cover, and pillow? Then try taking a shower and wear clean clothes to bed. Don't forget to wash your hair. It usually has to do with dirtiness on something.

Have you switched laundry detergents lately? Samething happened to me once a while back I broke out in a rash from switching laudry detergents, so I rewashed everything with my old detergent and was better within a couple of days.

I'm thinking it's the dry air that comes w/ this time of year. What part of the country are you in?

Try putting a humidifer in your house for a couple of days and see what happens.

I'm in the Northwest. My body only itches at night though, not daytime. It's been a week now and I constantly keep scratching at night that I often couldn't sleep.

As for dirtiness, I wash my sheets and covers weekly and shower nightly. As for allergic detergent, I've been using the same detergent, plus, it only itches at night. Same with foods too.

Does dry air only make you itch at night? I thought dry air would make one itch at any time of day. I only have an air purifier (not humidifier) in the room.

I think I may have to make an appointment with a doctor to narrow in the cause. In the meantime, please just keep posting ideas and suggestions. Thanks!

Is it all over your body? Or only at your feet?

There's a thing called "restless leg syndrome" that occurs mostly at the feet only but it's basically an itchy feeling down your legs.
