the wet farts are the best. you can feel how fresh your colon is after you rip one. and also that sound is just priceless.

dude, i'm serious. this is becoming a nuisance. i've been doing 10-15 sec farts the whole day. wtf!! damn fibers!! i guess when you're in public and hold your fart long enough, enough gas gets built up to form those 10-15 sec farts. and this is happening like once an hour!! i went out to dinner tonight, and i literally had to excuse myself from the table 3 times just so i can go outside and fart...

Then on a serious note. Do you also take in much dairy product? Lactose intolerance, not allergies, can cause this problem, sometimes very quickly after ingesting milk or any products containing milk/cream, such as cheese, ice cream. You may need to switch to Lactaid milk or a soy milk product.
A trip to your doctor would not be a bad idea, especially since it seems this was a significant change and came on rather suddenly.

10-15 seconds is a long fart. fart more often for less duration. spread your ass cheeks with your hands if it helps. just be careful with sqeezing down too much or you'll shit your pants.

side note: I can't believe we're having a serious discussion about farts.

side note 2: next group meet, don't stand near me. no offense.

I had this problem a few months ago after taking a round of antibiotics. I was farting every 5 minutes, plus I was getting seriously bloated after eating and just didn't feel good overall. I went to the doctor, he told me that the antibiotics killed all the good bacteria in my GI Tract thats why I'm farting like a mofo. He told me to take some good bacteria pills, he recommended Culturelle from Walgreens. I took his advice and fixed it all up within a week. I'm back to my regular one a day farting routine.

i rarely eat anything with lactose. i'm just not a big fan of dairy. the only difference in my diet is that i've been eating a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables. i guess i went from 10% of fresh fruits and vegies a day to 70%. maybe i'm just overdoing it. i'm gonna try reducing the portion size to see if that helps.

wow, that's interesting. i would had figured that it would had been the other way around. i mean, from what i understand, it is the bacteria living in your GI tract that is producing the gas when they digest fiber, so when you kill those bacteria, then you should have less gas...
