VTEC_Junkie, from what I know theres good bacteria and bad bacteria in your GI Tract. The doctors call this good bacteria "friendly flora". Antibiotics supposely kills all bacteria, good and bad. But the good ones take time to reproduce, allowing the bad ones to grow rapidly and take over. The bad ones produce a lot of gas, so you fart a lot. Do you have bloating or other symptoms?

^ nope. no bloating. just lots of farting and the occassional diarhea... actually, come to think of it, i haven't been crapping as much either. when i go to the bathroom, it's just mostly gas and a little poop, whereas before it was a lot of poop. i'm still eating the same amount as before, although i'm eating different stuff...

dude, i'm serious. this is becoming a nuisance. i've been doing 10-15 sec farts the whole day. wtf!! damn fibers!! i guess when you're in public and hold your fart long enough, enough gas gets built up to form those 10-15 sec farts. and this is happening like once an hour!! i went out to dinner tonight, and i literally had to excuse myself from the table 3 times just so i can go outside and fart...

Make sure to drink a lot of water (coffee or tea not included because they are diurectics). Usually try to incorporate fiber into ur diet gradually. 5-15 ml of fiber 1-4 times a day. Drink as much as 240 ml of water with each fiber loads. Fiber can cause intestinal obstruction if u don't drink enough. How they work is by increasing ur stools volume and stimulating intestinal peristaltism...Side effects: flatulence and distending of stomach !
