This just goes to prove, no matter how good or experienced of a driver you are... public streets are public streets, and odd stuff can happen.
Also, I can't believe he ran
Now that's a low class move

Not saying I don't agree with what you say but no where did it say he was messing around in public street he could have been driving home from work ( or the bar) and just clipped someone panic and run when his friend jumped on the car he should have stopes but in a situation like this some people lose it
You don't have to be messing around on the street for things to go sour. You can be an experienced driver, and have an ordinary situation turn unordinary. A lot of people seem to think they're somehow above the law of chance, when fooling around on the streets. Just goes to show an experienced driver is subject to the same law of chance when on public roads.
This sounds exactly like what happened to a fairly famous politician here in Toronto. Someone clipped his car while riding his bike, politician drove off cause he was scared, man held on. Man let go, slid right into a pole and died on impact.
I like J's racing stuff, I hope it doesnt affect business.
