I'm watching the Indianapolis GP, and I just saw Jason Preistley doing interviews? since when did he start doing that? Can't he get a job acting somewhere else?

 

He has been doing it for a while. He is a pretty avid racer in his minds eye.

I think that his first telecast was the Indy 500 earlier this year. From what I understand he is putting acting (if that is what he did) on hold to try this out.

 

avid race fan maybe. avid racer? its been quite a few years since I've seen him race, but I remember him blowing up a Mustang or two around a road course in an enduro/multi-driver race.

What pathetic commentary coverage ABC offered... However I did like their use of camera views vs. Speedvision. I especially like it when they show the RPM telemetry on screen. I did miss Varsha, Hobbs and Posey though...guess I'll wait for the Speedvision run on Oct.7.
