Yep. Thats not a great white. The Mako is a very, very close cousin of the Great white...Like the great white, the Mako is warm blooded which gives it the speed and endurance (like the great white), downside is that they must feed more often.

Regarding the size of the Mako, that must be a new world record. Makos are usualy 6-7ft. long. That is one big ing mako. Just like the ones from Deep Blue Sea....

Great Shark! About a month ago an 11 footer was caught right off of Cape May, NJ....it didnt have quite that much girth..I think it was in the 800 LB range
