I saw this on the MSN home page yesterday, and finally looked at the auction today. This guy is trying to start the bidding at 7 grand for this door. Reminds me of the time some guy was trying to sell a peice of toast with Jesus' face in it for a fortune.

How does one decide that the starting bid should be $7,000?

If it were truly a miracle, I'd think that the starting bid should be much higher: $500,000 at least.

(In the description he writes that you can't put a price on it, yet he seems to have managed to do so. Maybe that's the miracle.)

Looks more like Bin Laden. Also, the real Jesus didn't look anything like today's depiction from the Western world. He looked just like every other Jew/Egyptian at the time, which is to say, dark-skinned, dark-haired, bushy-eyebrowed, etc.

Today's Jesus is 6-ft, blond-haired, blue-eyed, 6-packed, muscular, and looks like a grown-up Justin Bieber (sp?).
