Looked real the first time, but the second time it looked fake. The body of the snake does not move except the part that the trainer is holding with the stick. When the snake leaps forward, the trainers stick goes with it. I don't think the snake would have that much force if it were real.

Also, I don't think they transport poisonous rattle snakes in a wooden crate with just a burlap rag on top to keep it from escaping

No, they usually just toss them in a burlap bag.
