There was a small series of movies by Charles Eames (an architect that made some very nice furniture too) that does the same thing, very interesting to watch.

This perspective is what got me so excited in astronomy and the whole universe in general back in 4th grade. I wasn't able to explain it to fellow 10 year olds, but I was able to visualize it. Pretty exciting and scary at the same time. If I had this "tool" back then, I would have NO problem explaining to my classmates how big the universe is or vice versa, and would've probably encourage much better grade in science.
