Judge Strikes Down FDA Ban on Ephedra
This is so funny it's sad.
Exactly how is a judge supposed to second-guess the medical profession and opinions in this manner?
The FDA really isn't an enemy of the people, you know. Yes, it's a bureaucracy and inefficient, but it does do quite a bit of good.
And I do agree with the previous poster: If this is the case, then weed should be permissible too.

Any producted used incorrectly can potentially be banned. I've used ephedra products as directed for several years, and I've had no problems. I use common sense and follow directions.
Smoking related deaths has killed more people; it's not banned, all they are doing now is educating the people on its adverse affects. Why can't they do that with ephedra? I we have an over-weight society, so of course there's a market for it, why don't they just take the same approach as they did with smoking?
I'm for it. Besides I can honestly say that it's gotten me better grades while in college than I've ever had in my entire time in school.
