i am trying to help a friend find thousands of junk cars that have been crushed (but not shredded yet) in the west coast and almost everywhere i called i got stone walled.

anyone know any company in the west coast that my friend can buy these junk and crushed cars? he needs thousands upon thousands of them.

You are not going to find them. China has already swooped in and bought them all. Truckload after truckload coming into the Long Beach Port everyday and heading onto cargo ships for China.

around here you get about $200 a car at the scrap yard..... there is a shreader machine in the scrap yard about 1/2 mile north of my work... pretty neat stuff..

how much is he looking to spend? there are plenty of salvage yards around me but I am not sure what they would sell a full car for... they have to make their $ too...

funny that you say that because my friend claims to have the only license in china to recycle cars issued by the central government.

if you can find out who's shipping that to china maybe we can figure out who's doing this behind the chinese government's back
