Junk Mail
As much as I hate junk mail, I hate unsolicited phone calls much more. The worst ones are the "automated" voices which give you no indication of who to talk to in order to make them stop (so you can collect your $500 per the law that says they must stop calling you once you tell them).
Usually I screen my calls with caller ID and don't usually pick up "out of area" calls. However, sometimes I like to have a little fun... if I do decide to pick up and get a human, my goal is to make them hang up on me. If it's a female, I'll ask her "what are you wearing right now" or what her home phone number is. You can guess where it goes from there. Or if it's a guy sometimes I'll just ask for their credit card number. If they ask why, I'll say "you were probably going to ask me for mine, so I figured I should have yours too". Anyway, there's a lot of other fun things you can do. Perhaps some of you can come up with some better things.

You know, I hate to be the voice of reason here (
), but if you just ask them to take you off their lists, they will...If you sent their crap back to them without your name on it, you'll never get removed...

I always seem to get the telemarketers' calls right at dinnertime. I like to tell them how interested I am in what they have to say, but I'm busy at the moment. Then I ask for their home number, so I can call them back later to discuss their proposition. Funny, they always decline and say they'll call back another time (they never do).
