Just got a 1993 twin turbo Mr2
Dual aerodyne Variable Vein Turbos (VATN)
This comes with its own manifold and downpipe(but still passes smog), its own K&N style intake. For more information read May 1995 issue of Turbo magazine which actually features my car. There is also some information for the single VATN turbo in part 6 of SCC project Mr2 I believe.
MSD 6 multiple spark ignition
Haltech computer
HKS VPC
HKS BOV
HKS Boost gauge
GReddy Intercooler
GReddy exhaust
Custom dual coated manifold
replaces the manfold that came with the turbo kit. This was a custom manifold with ceramic coating on the exterior and interior of the manifold
Eibach springs
RPS Turbo heavy duty clutch
There were only two twin turbo kits made by Mechtech of Escondido. I found out that one of them (the blue one)recently crqshed last month and the car was crushed before anyone could get to it. This means this is quite possibly the only Mr2 in North America with twin turbos. Nobody knows of any in Japan that are twin turbo either. The car did 340hp@15.5psi on pump gas and is smog legal. Once I get a downpipe, SPAL intercooler fan, copper NGK spark plugs and some minor goodies I should get even more power out of the 2.0 liter motor. Marc Summers got 12rwhp just from the intercooler fan, and the fan only costs about 50 bucks. The car is in MINT condition inside and out and has about 60,000 miles on it. It was also featured in May 1995 editon of Turbo magazine, one of the centerfolds.

Wrong forum dude, every single one of the S2000 owners here could have bought the MR2 Turbo but chose not to, so I don't think anyone gives a $hit.

You lucky SOB . . . I wish I could tune my MR2T like that. You might wanna do some more suspension tuning, the '93+ have more conservative setups than the '91-'92 . . . just a thought . . .
