the movie about indy car racing... was shot in toronto, with stallone and some others (less known)...

my opinion... some of the worst acting i have ever seen!!!...

the shots of the racing and accidents were really cool, but other then that, not worth the money... maybe a rental...

sheesh you gotta ruin the plot for me dont you? I just bought my advanced ticket for tomorrow night's D/FW gathering - $7.75 - ACK! movie prices have gone up.

and here I thought I was going to see Stallone in another great acting movie with a well formed plot. (blah!)

Actually, it's champ cars (cart) not Indy cars. but I saw it this evening, and it let me down in the following ways:

- Renny Harlin can't direct.
- The CG looks WAY too CG
- Not enough Estella Warren
- Too much Gina Gershon.
- The editing was horrible, I mean is it too much to ask to stay on a shot for more than 30 frames?

But actually, I enjoyed it for what it was. I wasnt expecting a good film, but a fun movie. and it was decently fun, but I think last year's Gone In 60 Seconds was a more fun car movie

ALthgouth when the annoucer said "He's starting from the 26th pole position" it REALLY bothered me.

Estella Warren is the main female actor.

http://www.atpictures.com/estella/ to see why there was not enough of her.

I also saw it. I knew going in not to expect much from a Stalone movie, and I was right. I'm still glad I saw it, but only for the racing sequences.

stallone is a jackass. i heard him talking about how he worked on this movie for ten years and how F1 wouldn't let him license their name. Duh?! like F1 would ever license to a two-bit woodhead like stallone. jeezus, the nerve of pseudo-celebrities. he's determined to turn motorsports into a joke.

it's movies like 'grand prix' that give me hope for the future.

I didn't see one. You may be thinking of another film.
