8.50 here in the land of Nasdaq. I was diasppointed in Gina Gershon- she has had better performances, IMO. The plot was ridiculous- and not just the racing inaccuracies. I mean that German racer- how stereotypic. And Burt Reynolds- his character was even more one dimensional than Stallone's.
Enjoyed some of the driving scenes though. Several have referred to Gran Prix- anyone want to post a synopsis? Is it worth seeing?

Patrick, Thanks for the Estella link. Ouch! I'd better go for a fast drive!
Has she been in any other movies?

Someone had posted earlier that there was supposed to be an s2000, but there wasn't.
Patrick, not to be dense, but what is CG?

Tam
The movie showed Toronto off to good effect. If the SAG writers go on stirke, you'll see even more movies and TV shows filmed in Toronto, Vancouver, and lots of Canadian and Mexican locales.

Anyone know if the "German" scenes were really shot at a German racetrack?
I saw credits for a Brazilian crew, Japanese crew, Fla crew, but don't remember seeing a mention for the FRG.

Champ cars don't have a start button, they don't even have a starter. They require an external starter or a push start.
