i definitely like using my bluetooth headset....but i only use it while driving, working (which i probably shouldnt be on the phone anyways but it keeps my hands free to type), or at home when im trying to multitask...there is no reason to hate on something just because people abuse it...there are a lot of things in this world that when used properly are good/important but when not used correctly they just look stupid (ie wearing headsets when not on the phone, wearing sunglasses at night, myspace sumbags, etc...) i could definately go on but ill leave that up to scot...he seems to cover most areas on here

Maybe it's a Boost Mobile phone, you know the "Where you at" people. I hate that, when someone says "where you at", makes me want to say "obviously not English class".

But I digress...

My cell doesn't have bluetooth but I don't care, I tried on a bluetooth headset when I was looking at new phones and they are heavy on the ear and uncomfortable. I do however, have a wired headset on my cell and after using it a few times, I can't use my cell any other way. Holding the phone up to the ear is such a pain in the ass now. Whether driving, working or at home, I love talking on a phone that leaves my hands free. It's almost like I'm the persom I'm talking to is right in front of me.

Oh yeah, don't even get me started on $200 Air Jordans and $500 Averex jackets made in India by a 5yr old kid who works 15hrs a day for $1.00 a week and the ghetto kids who buy them.

It's the circle of life man...

Slave man makes shoe (stays poor) -> Rich man buys cheap ass shoe (stays rich) -> Poor thug buys shoe at ridiculous markup (gets gets "slave poor") -> Rich man gets richer -> Same thug now makes shoes for a living

The rich know how to siphon money out of the system, while the poor are too ignorant to know that there even is a system

Some guy at Scot's work probably posted a thread on another board a few months ago with the title "Just saw one of the accountants with an NSX! "

sans physically holding a phone to your ear, having a phone conversation while driving really isn't much different than having a converstion with your passengers while driving, and i'm sure most, if not all, of us do that on a regular basis. having to hold up a phone to one's ear, as opposed to using an earpiece, makes those conversations a lot more distracting for the driver because it limits the driver to only one hand for steering, shifting, signalling, etc. i think the most dangerous part about using a cellphone while driving is not so much the conversation itself, but the acts of having to connect, disconnect, and/or dial a call, for those acts generally require a driver to take his/her eyes off the road momentarily.
