Default Justice, Yes. War, No. (IMO)

Yes, I want Justice and those responsible should receive the appropriate punishment.

But the top concern here should be the lives and lifestyles of the innocent peaceful citizens of the world.

If the US starts bombing other countries, they will retailiate with force. Not equal force, but surely enough to do serious damage.

A WAR consists of battles, pural. The battles against the US will be on US soil. Measures must be taken and taken quickly, quietly and swiftly, but the TOP concern should be the safety of you and I.

The american people are loved across the world, but the american government is hated.

One example: If we bomb afganistan where some terrorists are who happen to be muslim and we kill many other innocent muslims, then ALL muslims might wage war back against the "evil hipocritical empire of death". That would be a war that could not be won. And if it could, the cost would be too high.

Go Team America, but more importantly, Go Team Earth.

there would be no attacks on US soil. there is no way they could mobilize their armies and bring them over here close enough to attack the US. even more than that they would need to concentrate their efforts on defending their home land...America will not see a battle on it's own streets. these countries who harbor and encourage terrorism by offering them a place to stay in their nation need to be dealt with swiftly and unmercifully. they only understand war and terror and death and you have ti fight fire with fire...i see where you come from but the threat of war on american soil is next to impossible...we can bring them to their knees before they know what hit em.

Swurvy, you're taking this wrong. They wouldn't land an army on US soil, they would land 3 guys to hijack planes, or bomb a building, or poison a water supply. Your view that America can simply bomb the shit out of these countries and bring them to their knees is way too simplistic.

On Tuesday there were four attacks on US soil, only one of which was thwarted, and that at the cost of dozens of American lives. Let us not kid ourselves.

"but the TOP concern should be the safety of you and I."

There is a point at which these concerns become secondary. When enough innocent, defenseless, unaware people are targeted and killed by people too cowardly to admit to their own actions. Enough people to erase whole families, whole cities in this country. That is the point. If you will not fight against this, if you will not put your own safety second to stop this, what will you stand for. What can you stand for....?

When the fighting begins I'll there to defend the longevity of Freedom. The safety i'm referring to is not our immediate cowarding safety, but the preservation of life as we know it, the safety of Freedom and the American way.

Here is a question that really can't be answered, but....

If knew with 100% assuredness that there will be no more attacks if we don't attack them, would you hold back also knowing that they will retailiate again if we strike?

I guess my point is (i don't even know what it is really)... Our actions should be driven by common sense and well thought out planning and anticipation of all possible outcomes and NOT by our emotions and need for revenge though I'm not saying it isn't warranted.

on second thought. I have no point.

My motivation is to use any and all means necessary to see that this image:

Is never created again in my country.

I have no wish for our own freedom/rights to be mitigated (because it would not prevent anything, just make us lose more than we already have), but I have no concerns for the freedom/rights of those involved in this.
