i saw them last night while channels surfing so i dont know whats going on but from what i saw, they need work on their timing. one can easily spot when one member was off beat slightly.
also, one of the guy wasnt fully committed to the dance. the part where they were doing the robot-like motions, he was more fluid then the stop-go motion of what they were trying to show.
very amature from what i saw on tv last night.

 

Yeah...it's a shame when their all friends and can't just kick him out. They are full-time students though. The dance teams at my school is no where near their innovation and precision.

 

Just saw em tonite, and i like them because they danced to Daft Punk's "Technologic" :-P

 

Actually, you have to audition to get into Kaba Modern. That guy may just not be as good at poppin. If you watch their second dance, he looked good doing more fluid motions of dance.

 

lol, my friend tried out for the UCI breaking crew, and he failed miserably I heard they are serious competitors in the breaking category as well (UCI as a whole), not just moderns.

 

Nearly everyone I know at UCI is in a dance team. There's a ton of them on campus. You could probably walk up to anyone as they're walking to class and serve them. Chances are, you'll get served back. You know what happens after that? It's on.

 

so i just saw this show.

lots of good dancers. kaba modern is good. i was also impressed by status quo and how that dude had the sprained ankle and was still doin backflips, but jabbawockeez pwnz this show and i think they will take it. i think it will be a showdown between kaba and jabbawokeez.
